Floor Sanding in Great Torrington and the Torridge Valley
Torrington sits on a hill above a loop of the Torridge, with commons on three sides and a steep drop to the river. The town centre is largely Georgian and early Victorian, rebuilt and extended after a long and eventful history, with older buildings surviving behind the frontages.
Around it the Torridge valley holds farmhouses, cottages and villages of cob, stone and thatch, and Dartington Crystal and the surrounding light industry give the town a working character.
We cover Great Torrington, Little Torrington, Frithelstock, Langtree, Weare Giffard, Roborough, High Bickington, St Giles in the Wood, Beaford and Merton, plus Bideford, Barnstaple and Holsworthy.
