Floor Sanding Across Paignton and Torbay
Paignton grew fast in the late Victorian and Edwardian years and the housing shows it. Big bay-fronted villas around Roundham and Preston, long terraces built for the railway trade, a great many converted into flats and guest houses, and modern estates spreading up towards Clennon and Collaton.
The villa stock is where the good floors are. Pitch pine, occasionally oak in the better rooms, and often a hall laid in encaustic tile with boards beyond it.
We cover Paignton, Preston, Goodrington, Roundham, Blatchcombe, Collaton St Mary, Churston, Galmpton and across Torbay to Torquay, Brixham and Newton Abbot.
