Floor Sanding in Bideford and the Torridge Valley
Bideford is an old port and it has the housing of one. Steep streets of seventeenth and eighteenth century merchants houses above the quay, Victorian terraces on the East-the-Water side, and modern estates out towards Northam and Abbotsham.
The older stock throws up some of the most interesting floors in north Devon. Wide elm, early pine laid on sleeper walls, and the occasional oak plank floor that has been walked on since before the Bridge was widened.
We cover Bideford, Northam, Appledore, Westward Ho!, Instow, Fremington, Torrington, Abbotsham, Landcross and Weare Giffard, plus Barnstaple and the wider north Devon area.
