Floor Sanding in Kingsbridge and the South Hams
Kingsbridge sits at the head of a drowned river valley and it is the market town for a large and prosperous stretch of the South Hams. Georgian and early Victorian frontages up Fore Street, the arcaded Shambles, older buildings behind, and modern housing climbing the hills on both sides.
The town serves villages full of period property, a great deal of it second homes or holiday accommodation, from Salcombe and Thurlestone round to Slapton and Beesands.
The floors range from wide old elm and pine on sleeper walls in the village cottages to good Georgian and Victorian boards over joists in the town itself.
We cover Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Malborough, Thurlestone, Aveton Gifford, Loddiswell, Frogmore, Chillington, South Milton and West Alvington, plus Modbury, Dartmouth and Totnes.
