Floor Sanding in Dartmouth and the Dart Estuary
Dartmouth is one of the most architecturally intact small towns in the south west. Jettied Tudor buildings on the Butterwalk and Bayards Cove, Georgian merchants houses above the quay, and terraces climbing streets so steep that some are steps rather than roads.
The floors match. Wide oak and elm in the oldest buildings, Georgian pine in the merchant houses, and Victorian boards in the later terraces up the hill.
Add to that a large number of second homes and holiday lets that sit empty through the winter and full through the summer, which is hard on timber in its own way.
We cover Dartmouth, Kingswear, Stoke Fleming, Blackawton, Strete, Slapton, Dittisham, Cornworthy and Townstal, plus Totnes, Brixham and the South Hams.
