Floor Sanding in Torpoint and on the Rame Peninsula
Torpoint faces Devonport across the Tamar and the Navy has shaped it for two centuries. Georgian and Victorian terraces laid out on a grid running back from the ferry, a great deal of service and ex-service housing, and modern development spreading west.
Beyond the town the Rame Peninsula is a different world: Cawsand, Kingsand, Millbrook and Antony, with old fishing cottages, coastal property and some very good period houses.
The floors follow. Sound Victorian pine over joists in the town terraces, older elm and pine on sleeper walls in the peninsula cottages.
We cover Torpoint, Millbrook, Cawsand, Kingsand, Antony, Crafthole, Sheviock, St John, Wilcove and Freathy, plus Saltash, Liskeard and Plymouth.
