Floor Sanding in Fowey and the Estuary
Fowey is one of the oldest ports in Cornwall and the town is built on a hillside so steep that several streets are effectively staircases. Medieval and Tudor buildings around the church and Fore Street, Georgian merchants houses above the water, Victorian villas on the slopes, and a very high proportion of it now second homes or holiday accommodation.
The floors match the buildings. Wide oak and elm in the oldest properties, Georgian and Victorian pine above and behind, and a great deal of previous repair from centuries of alteration.
We cover Fowey, Polruan, Golant, Lostwithiel, Tywardreath, Par, Bodinnick, Lanteglos, St Blazey and Polkerris, plus St Austell, Liskeard and Looe.
