Floor Sanding in Somerton, Langport and the Levels
Somerton was once the county town and it kept the buildings to prove it. A fine Market Place with its octagonal cross, Georgian and earlier frontages along West Street and Broad Street, and lias stone throughout.
Langport, a few miles west, sits right on the Parrett with the Hanging Chapel above and the old town running down to the river, and beyond it the Levels proper.
The floors range from wide elm and early pine in the older buildings to good Georgian and Victorian boards over joists in the market town centres.
We cover Somerton, Langport, Curry Rivel, Huish Episcopi, Long Sutton, Charlton Mackrell, Keinton Mandeville, Kingsdon, Compton Dundon and Aller, plus Street, Glastonbury, Yeovil and Taunton.
